Upcoming Vets Events: Bay Area
The 5th annual Wounded Veterans Polo Benefit will take place on Sunday, September 7, at Trione Polo Field in Santa Rosa, Calif. The event will serve as a fundraiser for injured American combat soldiers living in northern California, with all proceeds going to support three local veterans rehabilitation programs: Pathway Home, Community Action North Bay, The Bay Area Association of Disabled Soldiers (BAADS).
Event highlights include polo games played by some of the Bay Area’s highest rated players and ponies, a fashion show, silent auction, wine tasting, and more.

On September 13-14, the Black Hawk Patriot’s Day event will honor and collect financial donations for three military causes over the course of the weekend: Sentinels of Freedom, TroopsDirect, and Folds of Honor. For more information visit: blackhawkpatriots.org
On Saturday, September 20th, the Danville-San Ramon Rotary will host the Veteran’s Victory Velo (V3) and Hopfest. The Victory Velo will include 30, 60 and 100 mile bike rides, followed by the Hopfest which will feature brews from 20 craft breweries, live music, as well as food from the Food Truck Mafia.
Proceeds will go to the Sentinels Freedom Scholarship Foundation, an organization which helps severely wounded veterans reach their maximum potential. To register for the event visit v3hopfest.com/registration.
